I am 48 and I am just plain tired of feeling old and tired.  I know what I need to do to feel better and this week I have decided to make a real effort to change.  My goal is to be fit and fabulous by fifty.  To start things off I have committed to begin the Body for Life for Women program and to a Life more Weigh Less 28 day challenge.  I thought it might be fun and helpful to keep me on track to blog about my efforts.....so here goes!!

Yesterday was my first day on the Body for Life Program.  I was amazed that I never got hungry and I ate good, healthy, and nutritious food all day.  I felt really good last night....not bloated and tired like I have sooooo many times recently.  Yesterday was also my first day on the LMWL challenge.  That is just a fun thing where the challenger, Sarah Jenks, sends out daily things to do to have fun and enjoy life.  Yesterday's challenge was to buy fresh flowers.  I bought tulips....my favorite!  I will try to post the picture once I get this blogging thing down.  Today's assignment was to make a green smoothie.  I made one for breakfast.  It was made of vanilla greek yogurt, almond-coconut milk, spinach, 1/2 banana, and Arbonne vanilla protein powder and fiber.  It was yummy!

Well that is all I have time to write for now.  Here's to my journey to health and fitness!  I plan to make it fun!!!!
